Hello – I’m Caroline, I have been a qualified nurse for over 25 years and have spent most of my career working in the Hospice setting. I have most recently been working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Non- Medical Prescriber, focusing on the individual needs of patients and their families.
I am a fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist, I am fully insured and am on the General Hypnotherapy Register. I am passionate about my work, and will provide you with a professional 1-1 service tailored to meet your personal situation. I aim to help people make positive changes to their lives and wellbeing, using Clinical Hypnotherapy to increase self-confidence, change negative thoughts, and focus clients towards achieving their goals. Hypnosis can help you towards a positive mindset, encouraging you to visualise how you want your life to be.
I qualified as a nurse in 1986 and worked in the NHS hospital setting for 10 years in acute medicine, before moving to work in the area of Palliative care in a local Hospice. Throughout my nursing career I have recognised the importance of considering those in my care as unique individuals who need to be treated holistically.
I recognised the way in which the mind can influence the body and the body can influence the mind, and this eventually led me to train as a Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner.
I completed my Hypnotherapy training with the Central Academy of Clinical Hypnotherapy & NLP in August 2018 and have been practicing both within my work setting and more recently as a private practitioner.
I am able to successfully use clinical Hypnotherapy to help combat many different issues and problems, including anxiety disorders, fears and phobias, exam nerves, social phobia and panic attacks, low self-esteem, anger management, insomnia, fear of flying, fear of the dentist, chronic pain and IBS. I also work with unwanted behaviours, e.g. Smoking cessation, weight management and unhealthy eating habits..

Initial consultation (approx. 90minutes) £60
During this initial consultation we will discuss your concerns in detail and agree a personalised plan to help you reach your treatment goal.
There will be hypnotherapy work as part of your initial session.
Follow up sessions (approx. 60minutes) £60
How many sessions should you expect to have?
This really depends on the nature of the problem, but for many issues you can expect to have between 3-6 sessions.
We would usually meet on a weekly basis, however as progress is made we may agree to spacing them further apart.
I will guarantee to give you 100% of my commitment and effort, to support you, and expect that we will work together to achieve the results you are aiming for.

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
